There has been so much ado about the upcoming end of the age on the Mayan calendar. The date is 12-21-2012. Many fear Armageddon, the end of the world. There are books about it. There is a movie coming out about it. Why must it be a catastrophe? The fact is the ancient Mayans had an incredible talent for astronomy and their measurement of time was every bit as accurate as our best computers.
The end of their calender coincides with the alignment of our sun with the center of our galaxy. In addition, the Earth will complete a rotation of its axis. This occurs about once every five thousand years or so as does an age period in their calendar. Instead of worrying about the end of the world, why not focus on something positive. Perhaps this can usher in a new era of peace and enlightenment. Maybe if we send a vibrational message, an incredibly strong frequency of hope and a desire for a better world, the universe will see fit to put it in motion.
