Being grateful just plain feels good. So often we tend to concentrate on the things we want or think we need. Our vision is clouded by feelings of lack. Not enough money. House is too small. Need a new car, mine is not very good. I'm too fat. I am always struggling, I wish I was like him. Not enough of this or that.
Instead of concentrating on what is not there, be thankful for what is there. The Law of Attraction talks of how our thoughts, emotions and beliefs send out a frequency that attracts like or equivalent frequency. If one continually worries about the future, dwells on what is missing in their life, the worry and the feeling of lack will not only continue but intensify. Change of attitude, emotion, belief and desire are absolutely necessary to create the inner peace and joy that is needed to manifest the life experience, both spiritual and physical as well as material that is wanted. One way that is powerful toward this end is to feel grateful for what is in your life now as well as for the abundance that is to come. Concentrate on what is in your life now with feelings of contentment and gratitude.
Feeling gratitude takes you away from the feeling of lack. Show your gratitude in your attitude as well as your action. Give of your time, talent and treasure. Giving puts you in a great state of mind. Giving from the abundance that is with you now opens the door for you to receive from the abundance that you have not yet seen. Feeling gratitude makes you feel abundant in your present circumstance.
If you really look at your life, there are many things to feel grateful for. It is just a matter of adjusting your perspective and you will see so many blessings in your life. Being thankful can be a giant first step to adjusting your deepest beliefs, bringing about the vibrational alignment that will manifest the life experience you desire.
