Energize
The
Body

It is important to remember that the body human is comprised of energy. We use energy for our very existence. Our movement, our thoughts, our very being is a transfer of energy. As energy is used, energy must be replaced. It is important to know exactly what energy you are putting in yourself.

If you have a nice car, it must be cared for properly or the engine will sputter and eventually fail. If you forget to put fuel in the tank, in a short time, it will just stop. The car needs to be maintained and fueled. Keep it clean and waxed, the car will look great and perform perfectly. You, the driver, will be able to transport yourself and get were you want to go as well as do what you want to do without worry. You are able to cross great distances in a short amount of time. You will move what would seem to be an impossible amount of cargo and weight compared to what you can carry in your arms. You take care of it and use it properly, this vehicle is an invaluable tool for a long time. You can think about where you are going, enjoy the ride and plan your journey without worrying about the car breaking down. You can focus on the journey and not be distracted.

Think of it this way, your spiritual self, your source energy, this is the driver and your car is your physical body. If the car sputters, has a flat tire, makes weird noises or is stuck on the side of the road, you cannot possibly concentrate on let alone enjoy the journey. It is imperative to take care of the care if you intend to not only enjoy the journey, but complete it.

It is important to put the right things in your body whether it is food, drink, what you breathe, smell, feel, activities, influences, exercise, desires, environment, people, everything. The mindset can definitely affect the body, but it is also true that an unhealthy or malnourished, dehydrated body can affect the mind. Just as the beliefs, thoughts, emotions and actions must be in alignment, so must the human body. The brain needs proper oxygen to function. The body requires certain vitamins, minerals and energy to be fueled. The muscles and organs need to be properly cared for and maintained (or even strengthened through diet and exercise). Proper hygiene to keep the body clean and fresh as well as preventing contamination and tooth decay. Taking care of the vessel that houses and transports the spirit and is in essence part of the spirit, the vessel that performs the physical actions needed for manifestation is a priority, in fact it is a must if one would like to be a true deliberate creator.

This concept of care for the body can be made difficult especially in our society by what we are constantly exposed to and easily provided with. Much of our health mindset is to take a pill or a drug. We often mask or hide the root problem instead of discovering what it is and taking proper action. Too often we just want the quick fix to stop the pain. With our nutrition, there is fast food in every corner filled with enormous amounts of fat, cholesterol, sugar and salt. Even if you go to a restaurant and try to do right, you order a salad and perhaps a grilled fish. The salad is smothered in high fat dressing and salt, the fish is inundated butter and salt. One has to be vigilant when eating out. Be specific how you want your food prepared and don't be afraid not to clear everything from the plate. When shopping, read the ingredients on the package. Try to stay away from artificial preservatives as well as foods high in salt, sugar or fat. When there is fat in your diet, try to make it good fat (high in omega 3's). Occasionally a cleanse can do wonders for the digestive system. Get exercise each day. There is so much you can do to maintain a healthy lifestyle. And if you do go off your diet or indulge from time to time, don't beat yourself up over it. Enjoy it! You have earned it. Perhaps you higher self wants to share a treat.
