The Subtle Nature of the Universe
| |
This section is about the philosophies of Taoism: "Lao Tzu". The first part is the Tao Teh Ching. This means: Tao - The Integral truth of the Universe, Teh - The application of the Integral truth of the universe, Ching - The route. These passages contain the wisdom of the ancient Chinese Taoist. They describe the nature of the Universe and the relationship of man, our spirit (energy), virtue, source, spirituality and clarity. I believe that there are many lessons and truths taught here. Truth about being present, oneness, being, connectedness, humility and our relationship to all creation.
The second part is the Hua Hu Ching. This is the story of a Young Prince seeking enlightenment from the old and wise Master.
There is much wisdom and knowledge that dates back thousands of years and after reading this material, I do not really feel I am leaned enough to confidently explain the teachings in their entirety it at this point, but there is wisdom I have gained from this that is incorporated in other sections of this site and I would like to point out a few things that became clearer to me through this material.
We are connected to everything in the Universe. We each are a part of the greater whole. Our being is connected to everyone and everything in creation. We are all made up of the same source energy that makes up the universe and there is a great universal intelligence that is integrated into all of creation. (In our culture, we call that God). This union of that which is of earth (man) and that which is of energy (spirit) is uniquely brought together and represented as the Tai Chi. This is the harmonious cultivation of the body and spirit. This is such an elementary explanation. I recommend studying these works for yourself and I will update the section in the near future.
I said this site was a journey to enlightenment. The journey continues.
