Each and every day brings more disturbing economic news. Higher unemployment, housing foreclosures, retirement funds lost, energy cost, bank failures, lower wages, can't make ends meet, homelessness, can't afford college. We hear about crime, gangs, war. There is talk of global warming, natural disasters, pollution and the destruction of the rain forest. We argue over politics, insist that our beliefs, both religious and political are the only way and if you do not agree, you are the enemy. We allow so many things to trouble us to the point that we see only the problems and lose touch with who and what we are.
Watching television can really bombard you with negativity. The news shows seem to mostly display the problems and seldom feature the good news. Living in the city can bring the depression and violence to your doorstep. So many people lose hope and feel desperation in their life situation. Living in the barrio or ghetto or the really bad trailer park can make one believe that there is nothing more to life, nothing really to live for. Some feel ethnic inequality, perhaps there is no way to get out of poverty.
There is the middle class worker or business person who identifies him or herself as nothing more than the money, possessions or position. No matter how much or how far you go, it is never enough. And there is so much more.
Wow, did I cheer you up. The fact is, the world situation is merely an indicator of the mindset of the general population. So many people have come to expect hard times so hard times are what they get. So long as a person expects hard times, those hard times will continue. If there is 8% unemployment, we say, wow, that is terrible. True, not as good as it could be, but that also means that there is 92% employment. Most people who have access to a computer have a roof over their head and food in their stomach. Looking at it from that point of view would make us better off than most. Wow, a different perspective. Things maybe aren't that bad.
How we view our lives will directly influence our situation. If we try to see what we have instead of what we don't have, we discover that our situation is perhaps better than what we originally thought. Viewing our life situation from a point of view of the abundance that is already in our life, will attract more of that abundance. It can be love, peace, joy, faith, happiness or even wealth. See your life from a positive point of view. You will manifest the life you desire.
If you have lost your job, see this as an opportunity to learn a new trade or job, maybe something you will love. If you feel unrest, let go of it. Let go of anger and fear. Forgive. Give back from your abundance, this not only helps others, it puts you in a higher feeling place where there is not so much a feeling of lack. If your lonely, try to open up and allow others into your life. If you feel trapped or hopeless, try to make a vision of what you want from life. Try to imagine a better way and believe it can happen. Believe you are worthy and deserve it. You do, you really do. You are no less worthy to have the life of your dreams than the most famous or wealthy person you can think of. You have the power of creation within you. You are source energy, the energy that makes up everything in the universe. You must truly believe that you can and should have the life you desire, then your thinking and actions must follow suit. As the population changes the way they think, starts looking at the world from a positive way, we will see a change in the mood and ultimately the entire global situation could improve.
There is hope. There is abundance, there are all the things needed to make your life an incredible experience. You deserve this, you can make this world a better place. Believe it! believe it!
